The natal star chart is facing East and sitting at West.

Which version of school do I choose ?

N12 and N123 formats are commonly adapted. N12 format uses sector N1 to N to N2 to represent North direction trigrams. N123 format uses sector N1 to N2 to N3 to represent North direction trigrams.

Both N12 and N123 versions are included to allow easy switch over for users to suit both formats.

What is the meaning of W1 and W2 ?

For N12 format :

The West direction can be further divided into 3 sectors.

W1 (anti-clockwise sector of the centre sector)
W (centre sector of West)
W2 (clockwise sector of the centre sector)

For N123 format :

Void line is at 7.5 degrees between Sector N and N2 . We can't create the natal star chart at all because we don't know it's in Sector N or Sector N2. Avoid to live in house that is having bearing of void lines.

7.5 degrees
22.5 degrees
37.5 degrees
etc

For N123 format :

Void line is at 7.5 degrees between Sector N2 and N3 . We can't create the natal star chart at all because we don't know it's in Sector N2 or Sector N3. Avoid to live in house that is having bearing of void lines.

Year 2003 is the Chinese Farmers Calendar Year 2003 which begins on 4 Feb, 2003. Month 8 is the eighth month of Chinese Farmers Calendar year.

Why are there Kua 5 for Man and Lady ?

The calculated Man and Lady Kua numbers are from 1 to 9.
